Xpand Quarterly Roundup | April-June 2019

This quarter at Xpand we’ve been busy taking on big projects, while celebrating our 12th birthday and organising networking events.

Jag Panesar

We’re grateful to have an eclectic mix of clients to keep us on our toes and employees with personal goals to inspire us.

From a new starter to a sad goodbye, our team has changed over the last couple of months. We’ve hired a new Web Developer who has fit right in with the team and as always, we’ve spent a great deal of time winning new clients and have some exciting projects in the pipeline. Here are just a few things we have been working on.

New Website and Chatbot Refinement for Preen & Clean

Preen-and-Clean-Website

Preen and Clean, a window cleaning franchise network, asked us to build a new website for them after we successfully managed their social media advertising and implemented SEO for them. The website needed to load fast and make it as easy as possible for users to make an enquiry. We created a website that allowed customers to quickly and easily enquire about the company’s services, no matter what page they were on. The site featured a custom online quote system that that helped the sales team save significant cost in time.

They had started working with Chatbots but needed someone to refine the processes and make suggestions to improve the customer’s journey. This resulted in their chatbots becoming more user friendly and efficient when dealing with enquiries.

We also worked with them to continually improve the site, as well as provide guidance on further marketing activities such as their PPC that was then managed in-house.

SEO Generating £50,000 of Converted Business

Chris Makin is a forensic accountant who originally came to us looking for a new website. It became apparent that for Chris’ business the best marketing route would be SEO and generating leads through his website.

We’re happy to say that the latest measurement provided by the client has been £50,000 of converted business directly from the website. Chris Makin is a one man business so he is more than happy with this result.

Marketing Strategy for Le Chalet

Le Chalet is a French tearoom based in the heart of Leeds city centre. They approached us to help them with their marketing and from this we created a 12-month marketing strategy. We aimed the strategy around streamlining their marketing and promoting new services from their afternoon tea to their cheese nights.

To do this we began with a discovery session so we could understand the business, its goals and its challenges in a more in-depth and analytical way. We researched the relevant marketing channels and identified Critical Success Factors (CSFs) and a road map to achieve these CSFs. Now with a detailed and concise strategy, they’re ready to take it out into the world and achieve their marketing goals.

“Jag & the team are very caring and deal with the business as their own.”
– Nermine, Le Chalet Managing Director

In-Business-Networking

We recently opened our doors to In Business who organise networking events for local business owners. Taking place frequently over the last few months, we invite industry professionals into our studio for the opportunity to meet and discuss topics in a friendly and open environment. Specifically meeting with small businesses and start-ups allows everyone the ability to get their brand out there and create long-lasting relationships.

This quarter we had to pleasure of celebrating 12 years in business. We celebrated in true Xpand style by inviting our clients, suppliers, friends and families to the studio for an evening of drinks and food. No work-related chat was allowed!
