We’ve had a busy few months and haven’t had the chance to write our usual “A month in the life” blog, so here’s a quick run down of what we’ve been up to in March and April.
Creating a sweet website in under 2 weeks
We’ve been working with Lindt chocolatiers since 2016. In March they contacted us with an urgent requirement to put together an internal website that helped communicate their internal company goals and values for the new financial year.
We had an extremely tight deadline (which we love!) so Si, our digital designer, and Ryan, our web developer, got stuck straight into wireframing, designing and developing the website. In addition to this, Si also created 20 professionally voiced over animations to help easily communicate each of their key goals/values.
March also saw us set live two websites for clients that we had created strategies for earlier in the year. TAG Search & Select are an international head hunting agency and Hargreaves Garden Spaces specialise in the custom design and build of garden rooms.
View their websites here:
We also launched the website for ACoRP (told you we’d been busy!) – a community organisation specialising in supporting the railway community. It was a big job and we were proud to get it launched. View the website here.
Getting busy with animation
As if creating 20 animations for Lindt wasn’t enough, Si was also busy working on an animation for a London based client called Echo Tree. We wrote the script, directed the voiceover, created all the assets and animated them. Let us know what you think!
£47,000 revenue in 4 months
Results are as important to us as they are to our clients and we take measurements wherever possible. One of our long-standing clients, Headway Recruitment, reported £47,000 of turnover between January and April directly attributed to being found on Google via our SEO efforts. We love it when we get a result for a client!
SOLAR 7 taking off
Our SOLAR 7 marketing model continued to take shape. Si finalised the branding for the model and Jag was busy speaking at various events about the seven stages to achieve marketing success. In March and April he spoke at two events with a collective audience of almost 100 people and we’re glad to say the feedback was fantastic!
549 Easter eggs collected for disadvantaged children
We absolutely smashed our target for the annual JCI Easter Egg Appeal that we get involved in every year. The appeal involves collecting Easter eggs for disadvantaged children around the Bradford area.
We’re happy to say that we collected 549 chocolate eggs in total (with a little help from our friends at Lindt of course!)
Speaking to students at Bradford College
In addition to speaking to the business community about the seven stages to achieve marketing results, Jag also spoke to business and enterprise students at Bradford College about the challenges of being in business.
The talk was well received and hopefully inspired students to eventually set up their own businesses one day!
The team – learning, outings, a birthday and a wedding!
It’s been an eventful couple of months for the team. Simon, Si and Mariah went to the Visual Media Conference to learn about what industry leaders had to say on what’s new in the design for print world.
We had our quarterly team outing where we ate a delicious meal at The Pit and drank a bit more then we probably should have, but hey, it was a Friday night!
Mariah, our digital marketer, celebrated her 24th birthday and Ryan got married in Thailand. Congratulations Ryan!
Finally, we had a team photo session at the studio. We tried our hardest to be as natural as possible – what do you think?
