One doesn’t have to write in the Queen’s English to sound professional. These days, communication is becoming much more relaxed in its style. With social media having such a huge influence on marketing, people warm more to friendly copy rather than something that sounds like it was written by a solicitor.

By taking on a friendly and relaxed tone, your copy can show personality which will reinforce your brand. Don’t get me wrong, a relaxed tone of voice won’t suit every business, but neither does an extremely formal tone of voice.
