Hello June! We can’t quite believe we’re halfway through 2018 already. It must be true what they say: time flies when you’re having fun. We’ve had yet another busy month, with lots going on, so here’s a rundown of what we got up to in May.
The dreaded GDPR! We’ve also updated privacy policies for lots of our clients as well, and made sure their websites are fully compliant.
Delivering a solid new website for a commercial transportation company
Our web team have been busy this month preparing for our next website for Walkers Transport. Walkers came to us for a new, fresh website with a friendly feel that showcases their services. The guys are in the middle of pulling the whole thing together, and getting creative with the design and wire framing. We love digital, but it’s nice to put pen to paper sometimes!
A refurbished brand identity for an xpanding building services company
Mitchell Built Environment came to us for a refresh of their branding, in line with their expansion and to help position them as a leading player in the industry. Exactly the kind of project that our branding expert Si loves to get his teeth into!
We’ve put together a refreshed colour palette, a new logo, graphic language, and tone of voice. MBE’s new branding is designed for use across any platform, from printed stationery to social media, and we think it brings a fresh new feel to the company. Would you agree?

Two new clients down South = a lot of motorway mileage for Jag
Jag’s been racking up the mileage this month as we’ve secured two exciting new clients – a dental practice in London and a school in Oxfordshire.
The whole team have been busy working on a brand new website for the dental practice in London, with a focus on their implantology clinic. We’re in the final stages of the build on this one, so watch this space – it will be up and running soon!
We also have a lot of exciting work in the pipeline for a school in Oxfordshire – we’ll be creating a brand new website for them, as well as creating a new prospectus and some banners and signage.
A video animation for a print company
Speaking of clients down South… This month we’ve also developed an animation for large format print company, Fulham Graphics. They wanted to show customers how they can save the day by operating to tight deadlines, and we think we’ve got the message just right! Do you agree?
To find out more about our animation service, give us a call. We’d love to chat.
The team: Achieving goals, learning, and training in more ways than one!
May was a busy month for the team. Ryan, our web developer, has been reading up on the new Gutenberg editor, which WordPress will be introducing sometime this year – and he’s written a blog post all about it.
Jag has been busy with yet more speaking engagements – he started the month by speaking about our SOLAR 7 marketing model to delegates at Airedale Enterprise Services. The talk went down very well, and hopefully inspired some business owners to put more structure in their marketing.
Digital Designer, Si, and Digital Marketer, Mariah, have been making good progress with their professional development and mastered some new skills. Si’s making good headway into learning how to develop websites, and Mariah’s been working on conducting keyword research and creating SEO sitemaps. Good job guys!
Outside of work, Si has also been training hard to run the Leeds 10k next month. He’s running on behalf of our partner charity, One In A Million, and is making good progress despite a knee injury. If you’d like to sponsor him and help him reach his fundraising target, you can do so via Just Giving.
All in all, a very productive month!
